Básico’s Executive Chef Adam Miller

Chef Adam Miller, a South Carolina native, brings over 13 years of food and beverage experience with him as the Executive Chef of Básico and Mixson Bath & Racquet Club. Prior to attending the Art Institute of Charleston he held various front end manager positions at some of Charleston’s premiere food and beverage institutions.  His time at the Art Institute is garnished by his captaining of the school’s ACF competition team where he led the team to a bronze medal at the regional level. Upon graduation in 2012 Adam joined the team at Carolina’s Southern Bistro. He quickly moved up to Chef de Partie and subsequently Sous Chef at Stars Rooftop & Grill Room. After making his mark there, Adam was promoted to Executive Chef at Amen Street Fish & Raw Bar. We are excited and honored to have him join our Mixson Team!
